“ Hey Folks, I think this place has gotten kind of a bad reputation. Here's what I liked about it. So I just moved to NV and live in Henderson.... I see that there is a HUGE disparity regarding the cost of food in LV especially when it comes to things like vegetables, fish and tofu.. My Yelp family get in your cars drive -10 miles and save hundreds of dollars on fresh foods for your family. I got an Amazing amount of fresh veggies for $21 at this store!!! See Pics. They have a ridiculous amount of fresh squeezed juices * I can't even describe it... but there's a station! Actually there's a section for everything, seafood meats and fresh baked goods.. they even have a restaurant inside the store See Pics* and reviews. Ha of course I had to sample the food! Here's what I'm not so fond of... no one in the store ** that I approached spoke English haha...well I accept that I'm in your sandbox. I think they have a savings card like other grocery stores but. No one understood my questions... The meat, dairy and eggs in the store seemed over priced all the way around. Either way I came for veggies so no worries. Overall it was a great shopping experience lots of food for $21. Crazy!!! ”

“ El Super is a clean and spacious grocery store with the biggest carniceria I've ever seen. Fresh meats at a counter at least 5x the size of a lot of markets and butcher shops. The prices are fair for the fresh meat and great looking produce. I was pleased to stock up on many specialty foods. They have many varieties of fresh chorizo and even fresh vegetarian soy chorizo. A large section of authentic Mexican hot sauces and spices. Fresh cheeses, warm fresh tortillas and pan dulces from their own panaderia. We ate their restaurant Pepe's Kitchen inside El Super. Pepe's had many specialty Mexican foods you might have a hard time finding elsewhere. Ceviches, empanadas, chimichangas. They even had a few Salvadorean dishes like pupusas and platanos. Generous servings of cold refreshing aguas frescas that were very delicious. I felt a little shy when speaking Spanish, but there was no need because the staff is so sweet and friendly. Even other customers are very nice. This supermarket has a nice and safe family atmosphere. Thanks to the many nice ladies at Pepe's, the carniceria, and our cashier Diana. It was a pleasure to visit El Super and we are so happy they have opened. ”
